Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is from Belarus and was born in Minsk. Sergey Her father (who passed away in the year 2019) was a professional ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5, 1998, in Minsk Belarus. Aryna Sabalenka has twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was named Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. In doubles, she is the best player. She's won two majors along with Elise Mertens The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. In 2019, she was the winner of each of her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partners, making her Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples participating in women's doubles. In January of 2023 she attained her highest rating in singles. On 23rd August in 2021, she shot to the second spot in the rankings. As a double, she was able to propel her way to the top during February of that same year after her win in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of this area. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, played with her during the 2018 season up to the final and the beginning of 2020's season. Dieter Kindlmann had a brief time as her coach between August 2020 and September. At the time of her retirement, she's been coaching by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role as a model, and she is being followed by Maria Sharapova.
